Pandemic problems...

Not the most restful of Sundays! We've realised that if our small business is to survive the pandemic (no festivals, no trade stalls where people can try and buy instruments), we need to increase our internet presence hugely in the hope of attracting potential customers.

With this in mind, MrM decided to make a video of himself playing a newly finished cittern, to go on our Facebook page. A good idea. But it would have to be today, as said instrument has to be sent to its new owner tomorrow. We've had the video camera (purchased as it supposed to have excellent sound quality) a while, but never used it before. Taking the video was relatively easy; the problem started when MrM put the file on to his PC. No sound. Must be something wrong with the recorder. Nope! Sound was fine on my Mac! MrM is something of a technophobe, and under the mistaken impression that I'm some sort of computer expert.  He thought I'd be able to find a quick fix. Wrong! After hours messing around, still no joy, just frayed tempers! But, according to internet forums, its a common problem with this particular recorder...

Never mind, at least it can be done on the Mac!
