The dining table ordered by us was delivered this morning.  Finally.  We are very happy with it.  It is a sturdy table, but since the tabletop is painted, we have to handle it with care.  We have of course become reckless because the old one was rather robust.

After lunch, we went for a walk in the area around Ulestraten.  The village lies on the edge of the Geul valley and the Central Plateau.  We walked through the drizzle and therefore had little visibility, but I believe it is beautiful.  The footpath we took down the hill was very steep.  I am not a hero when it comes to descents like this.  At the bottom of the descent lies the hamlet of Waterval in a deep, narrow valley.
There were no tourists. :-)
