Airborne

Today I was lucky enough to see the Emirates Team New Zealand boat lifted out of the water,  hosed down, de-masted, lowered onto its cradle and wheeled into its base.  Such a fascinating process to watch.  The boat is called Te Rehutai - the Maori word for sea spray, and also “spirit of the ocean”.  The additional photos show a team member up the mast preparing for the boat to be lifted out of the water.
