Day 316 Low Key

This week's MonoMonday theme, set by our February host Carolina, is a low key picture of an animal.  The obvious choice for me is our only remaining cat Peggy Sue, whose picture has been given a low key effect in Silver Efex Pro.
In other news:  around 80,000 people are to be offered urgent Covid-19 tests in eight areas of England where the so called South Africa variant has been found, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.  One of those areas is just a few miles from us.  I hope that we are not next.
My friend who lives a couple of miles from me in a London borough (not one of the eight areas) and who is the same age as me, has been offered her vaccination appointment.  No news for me yet.
