Sunset

Today was Stella-Rose's first full day with us beginning bright and early at 7.30am. if it works, this one day a week will become a regular thing.   In the afternoon we fetch Violet from school and also take her to her Brownies meeting before her regular sleepover with us.  Mummy fetched S-R while Violet was at Brownies.  This first time was a bit of trial and error, not helped by the chaos in our upstairs rooms but Stella-Rose managed splendidly although I confess it took four of us (myself, Mr MC, The Son and Daughter #1) to make the day work!  I'm sure we'll get better with practice.
At teatime this evening Violet spotted the beautiful colours in the sky and I and The Son rushed out to get some pictures.  You can see that we live in a rather suburban setting and the sun sets to the right of this picture but on such evenings as this one the setting sun bathes the whole sky in rosy golden light.
