A box of toys through patterned glass.

We were treated to a “play” in the loft bedroom, before breakfast!
It had a script and disco light. And the title:
“Pets got talent”!
We all sat there in our nightclothes, in allocated “seats” Sammy, 9, was a “judge” scoring the “pets’” (soft toys) performances.
There was a hyper panda pet with (Toby 4) who had a song called “ I’m having some bamboo”
And a song by a dog called Biscuit. (Owned by Libby 8).
The whole thing took about a whizzbang 15 minutes.
There was a clapping of each “performer” before going downstairs for breakfast!
Good job it was the loft bedroom as we are a semi detached house, with 4 people working from home next door. One of them a student doing a Masters!
I had a dental hygienist appointment this afternoon, and said to the lovely nurse as she said “We are going to lie you back now”
“How wonderful! I could just have a half hour’s sleep! “
They laughed as I told them why.
Now it’s evening and the children are ensconced in their room, and Bonnie asleep in her cot on the first floor in our smallest bedroom.
Stephen and I have just had our dinner. Our son and his wife will have theirs shortly.
Back tomorrow.
Hopefully I’ll be able to comment on a few more blips.
I was sad to hear about Captain Tom (100 yrs old) who died today having been treated for pneumonia but then contracting Covid.
He did so much to raise money for our National Health Service, during the past year!
He made to the Palace last year to be Knighted by the Queen.
