15 minutes - not!

Blip

It has been horrible wet snow all day. It is barely lying but it seemed a good plan to stay indoors and carry on with the crochet. I have almost finished the blanket so am about to order more wool for another with a different pattern.

Mr C got his first vaccine dose, Astra Zenica. No sooner had that happened than we heard on BBC that it won’t be so effective against the new variants that are emerging. But hope is on hand via Sputnik V. The Russian vaccine got a positive write up in the Lancet and the Russian scientists say it will be 90% effective. It is thought that it would be a good plan to have a dose of that after the Astra Zenica. The only problem now is getting enough of it manufactured and there’s talk of getting that done in China.

We found some chicken in the freezer so the blip is my Jamie Chicken Tikka salad with puy lentils - allegedly it can be made in 15 minutes - I expect so when there are minions assembling all the ingredients- the dressing is the best bit - lots of fresh coriander, yogurt, cashew nuts, mango chutney and turmeric blitzed.
