Beetroot brownies

Thank you fellow Blipper for the recipe - they are delicious and have no sugar - the dates make them sweet enough.

It has been another day of wet snow and sleet. We are just below the snow line but people further up the valley say they have had feet of it. Everything is saturated so the river will be bursting its banks.

Hurrah! I have just had the call - I get the Astra Zenica vaccine on Saturday. I’m so excited. Most of my 70 plus friends all over the country have had it now. Friends in the village over 70 but a few years younger than I have not been called yet. But it surely won’t be long.
