Saleh was weaving and selling his baskets at the side of the road. I stopped off to say hi.  After chatting a while, we realised that we met about 10 years ago when he was weaving at one of the craft heritage buildings. Here he is making me a woven horse. He then made me a camel. He has been weaving since the age of about 10.

Bahrain recorded 525 new cases, 1 fatality and 401 recoveries today

Bahrain ranks fourth among countries with the highest rates of Covid-19 vaccine distribution compared with the number of population, according to British daily The Times.
A total of 170,433 people received the vaccine, making up 10 per cent of the kingdom’s population.

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday suspended entry to the kingdom from 20 countries, with the exception of diplomats, Saudi citizens, medical practitioners and their families, to help curb the spread of the coronavirus, the state news agency reported.
The temporary ban, effective from Feb. 3, includes people arriving from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, the United States, Britain, South Africa, France, Egypt, Lebanon, India and Pakistan.
