Tommy: Demon Barber of Southam St. (widwed030221)

I had the idea that the barber's shop in Kineton might do as a subject for Wide Wednesday not realising that Sweeney Todd (the musical) is based on a book of the same title. 

Fortunately, Tommy does not dispatch his customers as a food source.  A good thing as the building just past the telephone pole (with the green door) is about to reopen as a bakery.

The barber shop building has a chequered history - in the time we have lived here it has been: an antique furniture shop, a wedding and portrait photographer's studio and a craft shop.  It opened as a barber in the summer and having just begun to build a customer base, had to close again.  I really do feel for anyone trying to establish a new business in these difficult times.
