Lock Gear

In an effort to find somewhere different to walk we drove to the park and ride near Stratford and walked away from the town along the canal.
Stopped off at The Farm on the way home for coffee & cake - entirely unnecessary but I have some knotted muscles in one shoulder and was in need of comfort food.

One of the locks further along is in maintenance, hence the matting top right protecting the towpath when the vehicles for the workers are driven past.  Good to be out in relatively warm temperatures,  Gill took a sketchbook and found a couple of good subjects.
