A Day Worth Recording

Plan

Millennia ago I started plans for a small indoor, potentially displayable, micro-sized railway layout but still in the 16mm:1ft garden-size scale.

I even built the base board for it.

A few months ago I ditched those plans and set off down the route of a 'module' layout - one that serves what I need at home for a bit of fun with model-making but also one that can be connected to others' modules at a model railway show (if ever they happen again...) to make a big layout.

There's a spec for the sizes, especially at the connection ends, but otherwise it's a free-for-all in the body of the module.

This is plan No. 369 or thereabouts.

Like all plans, it's failed at first contact with the timber.

370 and counting.
