Braving The Storm

A wet kind of snow stung my eyes as I left for a walk this afternoon with a couple more inches accumulated already. At least it made for a more confident footing on the icy surfaces.

Snow falling diagonally across the quarter mile or so to the far shore, softened the scene dramatically obscuring features of the old boathouse. Although the histogram looked very narrow on the camera, I took a chance on being able to recover enough detail afterwards to make an interesting image. Nobody out fishing today.
