After Garden watch

As always the birds always turn up after garden watch so today it was the return of the Goldfinch, at least 7 so far. I’ve had a new feeder up for awhile, an easy to clean one, but they are not that keen so I filled a nut feeder and they are much happier to cling on to it and feast on the sunflower hearts.The long tailed tits like it too.
Mike had a call with one of his friends in the morning and then went over to Dingwall to view a house with David. It’s a nice, three bedroom semi but of non standard build so hard to get a mortgage. Which is a shame as it’s been standing for over 55 years with no problems.
I stayed at home and hoovered and dusted downstairs.
Sad to hear that Sir Captain Tom Moore has died.We stood on the doorstep and clapped, think we were the only ones out there. Very moving to see his family standing at the gates of the house where he walked to raise so much money clapping too.
