Kirkoswald Castle

Tucked away on a quiet B road to nowhere is the remains of this castle. It is very difficult to see being overgrown by trees, the best time to view is winter. Once quite extensive only a few structures are left including one of the turrets (home to many owls, rooks and scurrying creatures. However the complete moat remains.
