It's too cold to describe. A and D had to stay overnight, since their car wouldn't start. After a lengthy late breakfast, we stuffed hot water bottles under the bonnet and covered them with an old duvet. A while later we connected my spare battery with starter leads and sprayed ether into the air intake. It started. Amazing.
