Steamship

I have a feeling that I've posted one of this flue before, but we are very proud of our "steamship funnel", a rather beautiful boiler flue.

I ventured out into the biting breeze this morning to collect my Sunday Observer and decided that this was today's blip.  I can easily read the paper on my iPad, but a weekly lump of paper is very useful for the fire and I enjoy reading like this every so often.

The Extra is of the garden, one of the photos that we have shared with our purchaser to keep them excited about the house and garden.  The latter doesn't look great in this weather and it's as well to appreciate its appearance in the sunshine.  Of course we'll miss it if the sale happens . . .
