I was taking snowy pictures from the river bank when I noticed movement on the water and realised that I had disturbed a Cormorant as he surfaced after diving for fish.   Such a chance encounter and one that I had to blip although you might need a magnifying glass to see him.
The extra is a collage of the garden looking very snowy this afternoon.   It's been very fine flakes all day but it's surprising how much it's accumulated.
Luna has just been into the garden (18.15 hours) and it's a very heavy but fine snow/rain, goodness knows what that will be like overnight if it freezes.    Lots of accidents and cars getting stuck in snow drifts this morning, thank goodness I didn't have to venture out.
