The life & times of Jacks

Snow Day 2

We had snow again today.
Steve and I also had today off work which was delightful.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable lazy one in bed.  I read the intro/ instructions from a gift my sister bought me for my birthday which was really nice.
Then we got up and headed out for a local 3 mile walk in some nearby fields with Phoebe.  She loved it.  She just loves running around and she doesn't go too far from us.
She was also a bit lethargic and slow to move (with us) this morning so we do think her first season is around the corner but when she was up she was full of her normal beans.
On the walk we bumped into the huskies that live nearby.   We know so many more people in our village now we have a dog and the huskies are Ice, Rain and their little puppa Ivy.  They are beautiful dogs and Phoebe was so happy when she saw them so she had a wee run around with them.

At the end of the walk she met Luna, a little Dachshund that lives nearby also and she almost chased after her rather than come with us.  Again she was super excited when she saw her friend.  Tomorrow will be back to normal park walk in the morning so she should see Wilf and Dolly and hopefully Poppy.

I got ahead with this week's reading for Uni and then enjoyed a cheeky wee gin.  We were still eating scones and cake though!  Good thing I also got a run in so a nice 15k step day - woohoo!

Phoebe is in the extra today.
