Little egret

It's bitterly cold again but mostly bright. I went for my daily walk from the village and round about the roads.  As I came through the castle field a Little Egret was there wandering around.  

The very small River Perry runs through the field and over the years I've seen an occasional one on it's banks. This one was ambling around the flooded field not at the riverbank so it was probably after worms.
