Home testing

The eldest has been 'specially selected' to provide a Covid test for some research, test done and collected today.  How accurate a test from a 5 year old can be remains to be seen as they don't take kindly to having something tickling their tonsils then stuck up their nose.  He was very, very good though.

The daily battle to get the days of the week in the right order and fit as much of the lessons in as possible.  Today was all about verbs, and task was to mime 'doing' something - so that was quite a fun, easy lesson - hurrah! The youngest is learning about weights, we had to weigh things from the kitchen, so again, top marks to the teachers for coming up with lessons away from the kitchen table.

Today I'm grateful for:
Evening work call that was constructive... we'll see what happens
Solo dog walk, the boys declared it was a day to be inside, I decided not to fight it and have time trying to train the puppy
A trip to the boys school to pick up books (I did manage to get them out!), it was very strange for them to go to school, but they were very happy to see it.
