with amaryllis plant #2 - which has burst into magnificent blooms - here you can see - just about 4 - with 4 more buds - still to open up - and there’s one more - plant on the burner - with buds that are now - beginning to show themselves - as well which simply - delights my soul - i will say it again - never give up on a flower - all three of these late - blooming amaryllis plants - i had thought were not going to - survive because they weren’t showing - any growth at all

i figured they were duds - i was clearly being impatient - not giving them a chance - or their due time - to grow at their own rate - it’s a lesson for the ages - since we/i can see how - i do this in my own life - with people wanting them to proceed - according to my timeline - or parameters and how fair - might that be - instead of encouraging growth - to how they move - and then lookit how beautiful - it all turns out - what joy results and - how we can claim it to be...
