Walking in the sun

The lovely Lucy came with me for a walk up the hill behind our house this morning and she really enjoyed herself as there were lots of new smells for her to inspect. She posed beautifully on one of the tree stumps left after the Sitka spruce plantation was felled about six years ago.

Later in the morning a white tailed eagle did a fly past at a very leasurely pace so I was able to snatch a photo (extra).
