A bit nippy up yonder?

Radio was telling us this a.m. it was the coldest night for, I think, a decade adding that the temperature in Braemar was logged at -23˚C
A swift look online:-
"Frozen Britain: Satellite picture shows scale of snow as country is covered by white blanket after temperatures plunged to minus 23C on coldest February night since 1955
Temperatures plunged to -23C at Braemar and -21.1C at Kinbrace, Scotland overnight, Met Office confirmed"

They then went on to tell us that our domestic freezers customarily run at -18˚C.
If you know me - you know I'm gonna check that claim.

On  the  left - The "Shed end" this a.m.
On the right - Hanging back "at home" after an hour or three in the Freezer.
Deffinitely - A bit nippy?
