The jab.

As a result of starting work once more as a Social Worker I had my Covid vaccination today. I joined the socially distanced group of mostly elderly residents queueing at Epsom Racecourse for "the jab". Bizarre accordian music of classical favourites wafted around the karge hall as one after another we shuffled up to take our turn at being vaccinated. Now I have to wait another 10 weeks for the second batch. This badge was unceremoniously stuck on my jacket. Suzy insisted on a photo when i reached home. It is "history" after all.
Grateful today that i have had the vaccination and there are no side effects, that the numbers of infections are falling and that i am getting to grips with a work computer ( slowly).
