Safe Places

I visited the Cameron Art Museum this morning to see the Robert Johnson exhibit.  It is a beautiful show of 80 artworks including full scale paintings and pages from his journal of the 41 state parks in North Carolina.  When looking for a comforting, safe place to spend time during the years of the last U.S. President, Johnson found solace in these (mostly) expansive natural areas in his state.  He lives in Asheville in the mountains.
