U.S.Capitol

Today, 62 years after taking this picture, and about 600 miles south, it is raining, and I am looking through some old photographs.

I took this with my Kodak Brownie camera when on a scouting trip to Washington, D.C.  The exterior today is quite different than what it looked like in June, 1959.  I remember just walking up the steps and into the rotunda.  Eisenhower was the president.  He was not being impeached.  A lot more could be said, but I will leave it here.

I'm sure the reproduction could be a lot better.  I just laid the print flat, hit the shutter and moved it into Lightroom for a few slight adjustments.
