Bearing The Weight

Taken with a long telephoto from an elevated position, giving a different perspective on things. Reeds darting this way and that, make an interesting pattern, broken by patches of snow.

It didn't seem that sharp when I took the shot, but I think that was down to the soft light. There is a little softness towards the back, to be expected given the angle of view.

As more snow piles on the reeds get slowly crushed, providing nutrients for the next cycle.
