Dog walking day

Like many dogs Poppy just loves the snow ........ great for rolling in and tracking scents.  For the first time in many weeks I took Poppy home clean and dry.

The park has become a split area as the snow captured by the sun's rays has disappeared almost like evaporation (Google call it sublimation) while the areas in the shade remain under the hard packed snow. That's the way I like it 'cos we are spared inches of horrible wet slush,

As the temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days I fear that we will have to endure muddy paths and slushy pavements.
