Breastfeeding 101

Today Robin and I attended our NCT breastfeeding class over in Muswell Hill. I shot this picture from the hip (literally) when it was over as the 'babies' casually strewn about the floor made me laugh.

The session was useful and Im glad the NCT ensure men come along also as their support (or lack thereof) can make or break the success of breastfeeding apparently!

I think we learned a lot and whilst it is presumptious for NCT to assume we all will breastfeed, I've personally felt for a while that I'd like to give it a go. Hopefully now I know a little more about what to expect!
