La vida de Annie

Palmeritas.

An emergency food porn blip of palmeritas, which are sweet puff pastry swirls. Very moreish, though I still lust after eccles cakes, crumpets and fruit teacakes. I've recently discovered that Brexit means that there is no more Yorkshire tea to be obtained from here, unless I want to pay 50 euros delivery on top, and then have it seized by customs. It's not crack cocaine! What to do now? No other tea is drinkable. I'm auditioning other brands at the mo. So far only Typhoo, which is disgusting. I've yet to try Tetley's or PGtips, which I can get (at a price) from a nearby shop which reopened today. My prejudices tell me that Tetley's is the brew of workmen who like their spoon to stand up in the mug, and PGtips is the scrapings from under the tea-pickers' unwashed fingernails, but I could be wrong...
