Always sad to see

Although there is a working VR not far away from this one. I thought they were usually painted black when taken out of service but this one has just been left to fade and rust away.

Had a bit of a sad morning trying to help and advise a friend whose husband is suffering with dementia. Her situation seems to be horribly mirroring ours with dad a year ago. I'll do all I can for her but the pandemic is certainly not making things any easier.

Took myself off for a bracing walk after lunch to blow the cobwebs away. Went up the hill, over to the park and then back over Gilstead Crag. Felt better for it, as always :-)
