What Is It About Cats?

What is it about cats? You put fresh water down for them but they prefer to drink out of any old thing outside rather than their bowl. I was quite surprised to see that he can drink out of the bird bath. He's coming up to 7 months so not full grown yet.

It's supposed to be warmer today but I didn't notice it in the wind. Around lunchtime we had snow, sleet and hail then rain. There have been more birds than usual visiting the garden including Mrs Blackcap but I wasn't quick enough for the photograph.
