Valentine's rabbits

Been a while since I posted a photo of our hare/rabbit hybrid and, for a while, had a horrible feeling they had gone the way of Bombur... but there they were this evening, snaffling up the carrots, strawberries, blueberries and sprouts Ottawacker Jr. had left out for them.

Another cold day in Ottawa. We ended up doing the typical routine. We've finished the third Harry Potter and, despite much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I decided to take a break from it. For an eight-year-old, the themes of death and ubiquitous threat are a little too much. Plus there was, in Prisoner of Azkaban, a scene in which Harry is deciding whether or not he should kill someone. I'd completely forgotten about it. Anyway, a break has been had, and I have taken Ottawacker Jr. on a trip through the Lake District portal, thanks to Swallows and Amazons. Going well so far. Although there may have been giggles and eye-rolling when we found out one of the main characters was called "Titty".

Where does he learn these things?
