Outside

The outside day started well with coffee outside on the veranda, in the morning sun. You can see the veranda both in my extra and in Jan's blip.
A bit later in the day we were out on the frozen sea again today, skiing along, and then over, Älandsfjärden (Erlands fjord?). My blip is taken as we arrived on the far side, and marks the farthest point on the trip. The bridge behind Jan is the mainline railway.
The sun has some warmth now, and as long as it was shining on us we had no problem with cold. Skiing into the shadow felt instantly chilly but mostly we were in the sun. Once we returned to "our" side of the inlet we even sat in the sun and had an energising snack, without needing to put on an extra layer - lovely. We timed things well and the sun went down, as did the temperature, just as we reached the car.
Where we set off on our trip there was a  kilometer-long track out on the ice where, at the weekend, people were speeding round in their cars. If it's frozen enough to hold a car I feel pretty safe!
