Warmth

After Zooming with the Bus Pass Walkers and then with community choir the sun was shining so I set off up to St Ives Estate.  With it being half term I anticipated it being busy, so stuck to the lesser known paths. Lots of cars about and a queue at Ivy Kitchen, but actually not too many people about.  I did go to the pond to feed the ducks, but it must have been nap time and they showed no interest (extra) - just one swan swam over to take some food (extra).  I went into the hide, but magpies seemed to be intimidating the smaller birds today.  Walked past the back of the mansion - hopefully this will eventually be renovated - sad to see a previously well used building looking abandoned.  You can see the lovely blue sky we had today, and it felt warm and springlike. Nice to see lots of snowdrops about (extra).  Back to rain tomorrow though I believe.  More expense now as a strange noise as car was backed into drive seemed to indicate that the exhaust has parted company - started raining now so will have to have a better look when it gets light tomorrow!
