.... or Tidying Up.

If the decaying flowers are left as they fall, grey mould can develop, botrytis which can spread to the corms which is bad news.   It's more likely to be a problem under glass in moist climates and today I found the older remains were dried out, so should be no risk.   However, the display that  remains looks better for my tidying up.

Mild and bright this morning gave way to rain this afternoon.   Jamie's been tired today so had a quiet time in watching a movie while I was out at work.   Some good news from Birmingham today where Ruth had an excellent appointment with a specialist OT from the Neuropsychiatry Department - took five months to come to fruit after the consultant recommended it but sounds like this is someone who can advocate powerfully for Ruth's needs.  Fingers crossed.
