In Memoriam

Corydalis wendelboi, named after Per Wendelbo, Proffessor at Gothenburg Botanic Garden in the 1960s. A plantsman who made botanical expeditions especially to the Himalayas, he is remembered in a number of plants bearing his name.

An appropriate blip in the same week as I received seed from Gothenburg :)

This plant is best grown under cold glass in the UK. The genus corydalis has many other interesting species, some of which are excellent garden plants.
