I, often, wonder?

Here's another Plan B. 
It was very nearly the same shot with a title to the effect that Drip on lens or NOT I'm not going out there again.

There are some, close to fanatical, Galanthophiles scattered around the country.  I do, from time to time, wonder how little difference there needs to be to merit a different varietal name?
Behold "Trumps" - which I rather fancy predates their Donald John by a few years.
BUT
How different is it from Viridapice?  At my novice level "No eye Deer"
Apart, possibly, from flowering time as my Viridapice have either emigrated OR flower much later.
And YET these ones were shot on the 11th Feb that year.

AHA!  These are not as far open - so can't compare their inner "Trumpets".
