The Edge of the Wold

Morning searchlights

There were no coloured skies at dawn this morning, but there was a spectacular light show as the sun climbed through the clouds. This was today's view from Arnside Knott.

After this, it was into Kendal, then a trip down to Warrington for a meeting. We were late coming home, and there was a glow over the estuary that suggested that there might have been a good sunset. Well, at least this is a change from four consecutive days of sunrise/sunset shots.

This is a bit of a blip and run. We are dashing over to Yorkshire this evening. My apologies that I am so far behind with comments. I will try and catch up over the weekend.
