Spin

Haven’t been out today, have mostly just sat about reading or watching the box. Can we still call it the box, watching the flat doesn’t seem right? Anyway, decided to have the Hearts match streaming on the iPad while I also watched and listened to the horse racing. The racing was good, the football less so; twenty six shots they had but only five on target and only one of those in the back of the net. Absolutely pathetic. But at least I wasn’t sitting in the cold and rain watching them, that would’ve been doubly pathetic. Mind you, I’d have had a comforting pie and bovril to ease the pain. Something to look forward to in the distant future. But less pain would be nice.
