It was 10am and Sunday, but even so the A38 doesn't often look like this, although the litter does!

I investigated a couple of tracks in the direction of Littleover, an area I haven't explored on foot before, thinking that I might be able to cross the golf course. But the path was edged with high fences because there was a lot of house building happening so even if there wasn't a stream - which I'd ignored when looking at the map - I couldn't have got through.

I'm pottering at home for the rest of the day and will leave a trip to the garden centre until tomorrow, I think it could be busy today.
