Mossy fallen tree

Nothing remarkable to say about this. Just what it says in the title really. I like exploring in a certain corner of a field that's up the hill from our house. It has some interesting old trees that slope down towards a wide, dried up gorge. This fallen tree is just on the edge of the slope, so you have to walk between it's branches to get down the slope. It feels sort of mysterious and secluded going through there. I imagine the sheep (when they are put in this field) have a very nice time roaming around the wooded gorge area....it would at least give them some shelter from the elements.
I've included some extras that show the view from the bottom of the field. The gorge is behind the trees and bushes on the left hand side. At the top of the field you can see the derelict croft house and it's barn/outbuildings. It's a shame nobody has renovated it and put it to use again. It would be a lovely spot to live.....you can see the water of the Beauly Firth from up there.
