Signs of Spring

A lovely afternoon walk ......dry with some sunshine & a pleasant temperature ....... what's not to like?!

I even managed to go out with a couple less layers of clothing ...... great to be less bundled against the cold :-)

The birds were singing to us as we wandered up the road ...... lovely to hear them in full song again :-)

We saw & heard a Song Thrush ..... it was perched at the top of the tree ..... a fair distance away so the image is heavily cropped!

We climbed up onto the riverbank & spotted Mr & Mrs Mallard swimming along happily together .... there was also a Cormorant fishing but too far away for a photo :-)

The Catkins are looking lovely & we also spotted some blossom just beginning to come into flower ..... hope you like my choices :-)

It is lovely to have some warmer, brighter weather to look forward to this week ..... lifts the spirits :-)
