Sempervivum

It was a dull, grey wet morning and then brightened into a glorious afternoon with sunshine, which was surprisingly warm. Took the opportunity to get out into the garden pruning the large shrub on the back wall to reduce the height and putting wires on the new fence to tie the clematis to (if they recover from the fence installation that is.)
Spent most of the morning studying various Latin rhythms and trying to count and transcribe them. Felt I had achieved an improvement in my listening to them them but will I be able to remember and replicate them?
It would seem that the government is being cautious in easing lockdown restrictions but opening schools for all pupils on the same day rather a phased approach managed by schools is in my view overly ambitious and does not pay enough respect to schools and their understanding of what is in the best interests of children and young people.
