A First For Me

I've often heard talk of white-fronted geese at Holyfield Farm but have never photographed one before. I imagined that they would have white fronts/breasts because of the name and I didn't know that they are smaller than similar coloured geese.

I spotted this pair, when they were in the distance grazing with Canada and greylag geese, because of their diminutiveness. As they came a bit closer the white patch at the base of the beak could be seen. It won't be long before they head back to Siberia.
