School

Penny used my laptop to do her lockdown lessons today, the technology section would not open so we left it and started on the Emojis? The task was to figure out capital cities from a series of Emojis, it was quite hard, some were hilarious, the first was a handbag and 2 people, one cartoon person was bigger than the other, Handbagman, Bagboy, Handyman then finally the penny dropped that the figures were father and son :-) Bag-dad  (Baghdad)  OMG!

The other lesson was about groups of things, here's a sample, NO cheating now, you're not allowed to google.

NOUNS
1. What do you call a group of Unicorns?
2. What do you call a group of Pandas?
3. What do you call a group of Crows?
4. What do you call a group of Giraffes?
Answers on a postcard please ;-)

The other lesson was to watch a short cartoon about a Vulture taking the one piece of fruit from a tree that the Meerkats also had their eye on and describe the big birds actions in great detail.

While I made some food, Penny text her Mum to say she was finished her school work for the day and could she stay for tea and play with Pepper. We had roasted potato wedges and lots of chopped up fresh veg for dipping into Hummus, basically I just created a picnic feast from anything I could find, I must do an online grocery shop very soon, you know when you're down to that last loo roll, last splash of milk and your fridge looks like a display model with nothing but a light on inside. Hmm!
Plenty of hamster food though :-)
