Nutmeg from Zanzibar

We are at home today. The two 'main' contestants for the election are having a rally today in town. Aside from throngs of people in the centre of town, it means that traffic will be a nightmare. Today is the last day of campaigning for which we all are quite happy! But this means it is the perfect day to stay at home and do nothing!

Fortunately for me I smudged banana onto my keyboard [no judgement!!!] which meant that I needed a toothpick to get it out. Low and behold, next to the toothpicks, I came across some old pieces of nutmeg which I bought in Zanzibar. Wrapped in vein-y stuff, these little seeds are fascinating and I had a great time playing with colour.
