Where's our roadway gone?

First photo of the day was of Manuel digging up our roadway ready to smooth it out a bit and add some crumbled old tarmac (taken from roads that were going to be inundated by the lake), here he's working his way down the slope (away from the camera) and is about to take away a thin layer of grey clay which has been very slippery after heavy rain.
