It's time for .... Things In My House Thursday.

Today, D is for Driffield Mouse (and friend).

Driffield Mouse was given to me by friends of my parents when I was 3. He is called Driffield after the small market town in East Yorkshire, because for some reason we had been there that day and apparently I was rather taken with the sound of the word.  His stripey jumper was knitted by me when I first learned to knit aged about 11.

Driffield's cat friend was made for my husband by a girlfriend he had years ago, and doesn't have a name as far as I know.
